About
Shi Han, a multifaceted creative director, draws inspiration from her passion for art, film, and literature to weave captivating narratives that span anthropology, architecture, and visual storytelling. With a foundation in architecture, Shi Han's work is enriched by her love for sketching, and dissecting scenes from movies.
A lifelong learner, Shi Han has immersed herself in books spanning various genres, such as personal growth, business, history, and fiction. Her favorites, including "The 4-Hour Workweek, "The Promise of a Pencil," and "Educated," reflect her dedication to exploring alternative ways of living, personal development, and making a positive impact on the world.
Currently residing in Langkawi, Shi Han is deeply engaged in researching and documenting the relationships between local culture, urbanization, and sustainable development. Her work, which encompasses a forthcoming book and social media advocacy, highlights the unique stories and values of the island's communities, promoting responsible tourism, and preserving the cultural heritage for future generations.

Self-Discovery Journey
After quitting my job in architecture in 2021, that was the lowest point in my life where I felt lost and uncertain about my future. I wanted to explore different job options, but I couldn't find a channel that I can peek through. That was how HUED came about. Through this passion project, I've created an opportunity for myself to talk to people from all walks of life. I was so inspired and I don’t want to be the only one who gets inspired. I want to share their stories and broadcast the alternative ways of living that we may not even know exist.
